The market showed a small loss Thursday, and Nasdaq Combined Composite Index ended the day at 16698 points, which is a decline of 0.3 percent.

3158 shares were up and 3886 were down, while 326 remained unchanged, and there was no trading in 163 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Thursday was approximately 534.9 billion.

SPDR S&P 500 ETF showed a small loss and ended the day at 529 dollar, which is a decline of 0.2 percent. The stock thereby reversed down after ten days of gains. Technically, however, it looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has broken up through resistance at 522 dollar and a further increase is indicated.
GameStop ended with a steep loss of 30.0 percent and closed at 27.67 dollar. The previous time the stock lost this much was Mar 24. 2021, when it closed down 33.8 percent. It does, however, look good technically. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, but has support at 24.00 dollar.
S&P 500 ETF Vanguard showed a small loss and ended the day at 486 dollar, which is a decline of 0.2 percent. The stock thereby reversed down after ten days of gains. Technically, however, it looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has marginally broken up through resistance at 482 dollar and a further increase is indicated.
Walmart rose sharply to close at 64.01 dollar, up 7.0 percent. The stock has never gained more in one day since Mar 17. 2020, when it was up 11.7 percent. It was also high volume. Overall it was traded for 3876 millions dollar in the stock, which is four times as much as normal daily turnover. Technically it also looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 59.00 dollar and a further increase is indicated.
Alibaba Group ADR closed at 86.70 dollar after posting a gain of 7.1 percent. We must go back to Jan 23 to find an equally strong rise. That time the stock gained 7.9 percent. The stock has thereby closed up 17 out of the past 21 days. Since the buy signal from the rectangle formation two weeks ago, the stock now has gained 11.3 percent.
